Allowing The Scales of Justice To Balance
A critical aspect of the American judicial system is the right to appeal when citizens feel that their conviction or sentence is incorrect. It is also imperative that institutions maintain a safe and professional environment for those entrusted to their care. Webb Hunter offers legal research for inmates to discover codes of law and case law that may not be available in institutional law libraries. We do not support frivolous lawsuits, but we believe everyone deserves access to the resources necessary to seek remedies for injustice or negligence.
Legal Materials
The legal information we provide to our customers is for educational purposes only. We have drawn directly from publicly available websites that don’t charge for access.
Source Materials
We offer results representing a small portion of the information from a website. Source formatting is maintained. Our customers receive documentation referencing the original author.
Inmate Materials
We do not offer mailed results to the public. We provide this service to inmates who cannot access the internet’s resources otherwise. Inmates who request research rejected by institutional publication policy will not receive a refund.
Maximum Results
There is the potential for us to provide many pages of legal research results. If an account runs out of funds, we only send pages that can be paid for. We honor page limits set by customers.
Minimum Results
We make no guarantee that we will find a specific code or case; Not all jurisdictions have online records. We charge the research fee whether we discover results or not.
Requesting Results
The customer must provide us with the exact code of law or an exact case citation. Webb Hunter makes no implication that we are offering legal counsel. Attorney services or legal aid are not available or provided.
