Subscription Information
We do not “shop around” vendors to find the best price for a subscription. We provide prices and quotes directly from our regularly used vendor, Barnes & Noble. If they don’t have a particular magazine, we may provide information on similar magazines.
Subscription Research
The customer must provide the exact title of the magazine they are looking for. We will return results with the vendor’s subscription rates, magazine cover, and description.
Subscription Periods
The period between issues is determined by the publisher. The subscription rate is usually cheaper for longer subscriptions. That is why we include all options from the Barnes & Noble newsstand.
Additional Information
Many subscriptions offered by Barnes & Noble are 60-80% off newsstand prices. Prices quoted from the vendor’s website are subject to change without notice. We do not mark up vendor prices. Some items have a limited quantity and may not be available once we receive a purchase request. Vendor advisories are included in our research.
Subscription Purchase
The customer must provide the exact title of the magazine they are requesting we purchase on their behalf. This information is important since so many magazines have very similar titles.
Costs and Fees
The charges a customer pays include our fee and the rate for the subscription duration chosen by the customer.
Delivery Information
All magazines will be shipped directly from the vendor to the inmate’s institutional address. Delivery time depends on the vendor, postal service, and institution. Typically, monthly subscriptions will begin in 8-12 weeks. We advise customers to be sure about their purchase requests. We process purchase orders within 24 hrs. of receiving them. That means there is not enough time for a customer to mail us an alteration to their order. Our responsibility ends once we make the requested purchase.
Institutional Policy
Webb Hunter, LLC will not be held liable for magazine rejected due to institutional publication policies. We do not provide refunds for rejections. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure a publication is within policy guidelines.
