Book Purchasing Information
We provide book purchasing and price quotes directly from our regularly used vendor, Amazon. We do not “shop around” vendors to find the best price for a book. If Amazon does not have a book (rarely), we may use another vendor utilizing their prices and fees accordingly.
Book Research
The customer must provide the ISBN or author and title of the book they are looking for. We will return results with the vendor’s book price, book ISBN, book cover, and synopsis.
Subject Research
If provided with a specific subject, we will return results including up to three books based on the subject requested. Results will include prices and a short synopsis for each book.
Additional Information
Both types of research are limited to one page of results per book or subject. We offer our customers the best deal available. Quotes are for “New, Mass Market Paperback (cheapest format)” books. Prices quoted from the vendor’s website are subject to change without notice. We do not mark up vendor prices. Some items have a limited quantity and may not be available once we receive a purchase request. Vendor advisories are included in the results.

All books will be shipped directly from the vendor to the inmate’s institutional address. Delivery time depends on the vendor, shipper, and institution. We advise customers to be sure about their purchase requests. We process purchase orders within 24 hrs. of receiving them. Amazon usually ships within 24 hrs. of the purchase. That means there is not enough time for a customer to mail us an alteration to their order. Our responsibility ends once we make the requested purchase.
Institutional Policy
Webb Hunter, LLC will not be held liable for books rejected due to institutional publication policies. We do not provide refunds for rejections. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure a publication is within policy guidelines.
